The idea to release an album of lullabies dedicated to ASPACE long haunted my mind ... I have had the fortune of playing in ASPACE´S center several times and have noted with genuine emotion, the importance of music for children and its magical stimulation.

I, in my vanity, as Les Luthiers would say -thought of writing some tunes and abuse the mastery of musician friends to disguise my lack of hability in the art of composing, I was rather surprised to learn that - submitted my proposal, "or many of them were doing or had just made a lullaby and thos who not, would love it. In the discrete empirical laboratory in which, sometimes, I convert my head, I summarize the reaction of the artists, and the compound was encouraging: all, without exception, have focused on this project dedicated to children, their sensitivity, ASPACE everyday life.

Besides being able to give this record to the association, I can presume to share with musicians I admire, whom I apologize for the daring and appreciate your involvement, which in some cases has been a great effort, as their international career kept them in other countries.

Perhaps mankind is generous ... or maybe we should not exaggerate: musicians, in general, are. This work you have in your hands, is a product of their goodness.

Germán Díaz, December 2009
